The Truth About Cats:
Here are a few more facts about cats.
1.A cat is very close to it's wild ancestors in genetic makeup.
2. Cats are really a small version of a lion or tiger!
3.Cats are solitary predators which means they like to hunt alone.
4.Cats are carnivores they must eat meat to survive. This is what gives a cat its drive to hunt.
5.Most cats like to eliminate in the same type of substrate. They like a loose, raked soil substrate. That's why a cat usually in most cases likes to use the litterbox.

Here is an area to view if you may be experiencing litterbox problems.
Here is a common situation. You leave for work house is fine you've fed the cat and no problems...You come home from work and on the floor, or couch, or even the bed you see that the cat has eliminated. What do you do???
The first thing to do anytime you suspect there is a litterbox problem is to have you r cat examined by a veterinarian and to be tested for a urinary tract infection.9 out of 10 times litterbox problems are caused by a medical problem.
Once a medical problem has been ruled out then we may start to consider that the prolem is behavior related.

A very important thing to remember is to NEVER punish the cat for ANY problem including a litterbox problem!Punishment only increases the cats stress and may worsen the problem! HOSESOILING IS NEVER DONE TO SPITE THE OWNER!!!
